Denim has never really left fashion.
But for Autumn/Winter 2026, it is being looked at differently.
Once associated with rebellion, youth culture and everyday dressing, denim is stepping beyond the jeans-and-T-shirt uniform and taking on a more sophisticated role. On the AW26 runways, designers have experimented with proportion, structure, colour, embellishment and unexpected silhouettes – turning one of fashion’s most familiar fabrics into something considerably more directional. The message is clear:
Denim doesn’t have to be casual.
It can be sculptural.
It can be dramatic.
It can be luxurious.
And that is what makes its return interesting.
At Fashion in Flowers, we look at fashion differently. We don’t simply reproduce what we see on the runway. We ask what happens when the idea behind a fashion trend is translated into flowers.
What would denim look like if it wasn’t fabric?
What would its blue tones, rugged texture, rebellious attitude and unmistakable character become in the language of flowers?
This is where fashion undergoes its transformation.
